Home Alone

This is an all-time classic that several families still binge-watch today. The story of Kevin, who was left home alone and needed to battle the burglars that visited his house, remains a kid favorite. Christopher Columbus directed the movie, and John Hughes wrote and produced the film. It is also considered one of the best Christmas movies of all time. 

Lion King 

The Disney classic is one of the most reputed animations of all time. The story of Simba and Mufasa has lit up the faces of several kids across different generations. The movie is also well known for its unique songs. Irene Mecchi, Linda Woolverton, and Jonathan Roberts penned the screenplay for the film. It was directed by Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff and produced by Don Hahn. Tim Rice and Elton John wrote the original songs.

The Toy Story franchise is another children’s movie that has etched its name into the history books and in the hearts of children. The movie allows children to see their toys alive, talking and acting. Joss Whedon, Joel Cohen, Alec Sokolow, and Andrew Stanton wrote the original script for Toy Story, directed by John Lasseter (his directorial debut).
