Pup-arazzi Moments: 30+ Photos Of Famous Faces Walking Their Furry Friends

By Jhoana C

Dogs are the world’s most popular pets. In the US alone, more than 50 million households have dogs. From emotional support to companionship, they have become a vital part of their human families’ lives. Canines have a calming effect on people. Playing and cuddling with them can immediately make anyone feel better. Even Hollywood celebrities are not immune to their charm and find them irresistible.

The stars in Tinseltown may have jam-packed schedules, but they make it a point to ensure their beloved furry friends have the exercise and fresh air they need. After all, when our four-legged friends don’t have enough exercise and outdoor activity, they can become depressed or destructive, and even the stars understand that. So, here are Hollywood’s famous faces out and about with their furry friends.

#1 Ryan Reynolds takes his dog for a walk

As if he couldn’t be more perfect, Ryan Reynolds is also a dog lover and enjoys taking his canine companion out for walks. Aside from being named the Sexiest Man Alive in the past, the actor is also married to one of the bubbliest and down-to-earth women in Hollywood.

Here he is enjoying the streets of Tribeca with his dog, Penny. We wonder if Blake and the kids accompanied the actor as he roamed the streets of the Big Apple. They are one big happy family we’d also love to be part of.

#2 Paris and Diamond in NYC

The hotel heiress Paris Hilton has the best things in life, and she shares them with her beloved pooches. Here she is in New York, leaving the set of The Jimmy Fallon Show with her precious pup, Diamond Baby, in tow, also decked out in designer duds.

We can’t help but be jealous of its little Louis Vuitton sweater that matches Paris’ polka dot frock. On a sad note, her beloved Chihuahua, who was 23 years old, died of old age in 2023. Paris said that Harajuku was more than just a pet. She was a friend and a loyal family member.

#3 Suri Cruise in Soho with her puppy

As the child of one of the world’s most iconic actors, Suri Cruise continues to be subjected to scrutiny. We may not know the real reason why her father has supposedly stopped seeing her, but we can see that she has grown to become a pretty young lady who loves dogs.

Here she is in New York walking her new puppy. They were out on a chilly day, so she and her furry friend were decked out for comfort and warmth. The duo must have had a lot of fun. We’re curious to know if they tried the city’s best hotdogs.

#4 Chris Pine on a stroll with his doggo

Here’s “Captain James T. Kirk” with his feet planted firmly on the ground and his hand on a leash as he took his dog for a walk. Accompanying him but not in the photo was his girlfriend, Annabelle Wallis. Pine once said in an interview that he loves his dogs so much.

One of his dogs is a coy and sweet half-Great Dane and half-pit bull who likes having her own space. He also has Babs, who he describes as a little cuddle rocket who adores all the attention, love, and kisses. They sound like the perfect pair.

#5 Amanda and Finn

There must be something in the air in New York that makes stars with pooches love roaming the streets and exploring its many corners. Here’s The Dropout star Amanda Seyfried taking her dog Finn for some much-needed time outdoors. They paused for a while so Finn could do his business.

The actress told People that she was obsessed with her dog. She said that the pup has completely changed her life and helped her find independence and navigate solitude. Amanda added that she battled anxiety in her early twenties until she met the one. Yup, she was referring to her beloved canine. How incredibly sweet!

#6 Tom Hiddleston taking a break from Asgard

Being the god of mischief must take a toll on your psyche, and that is why British actor Tom Hiddleston is taking a break from his duties and getting some fresh air. Here he is making the most of a great day in London, walking his dog and getting some exercise at the same time.

We’d love to know what music or perhaps audiobook he’s listening to, but the doggo couldn’t care less. It’s just happy being out and about, seeing other folks and dogs on the street. Like some of us, the actor once admitted that he is more of a dog person than a cat person.

#7 Chrissy Teigen getting her cuddle puddle

This picture of Chrissy walking her dog and looking gorgeous while obviously pregnant made us jealous. Some women are usually insecure about how they look when expecting, but not this model, who’s also John Legend’s wife. You can tell she loves her doggos and they love her back.

With her huge family and her pack of furry friends, her house must be overflowing with love and care. Oh, what we’d give to be a fly in the wall and see how the couple, their children, and their many dogs interact and live with one another.

#8 Reese and her pup playing matchy-matchy

Reese Witherspoon is pretty active on social media, and it’s not unusual for her to share pictures of her glammed up and just chilling at home. She has four dogs named Hank, Lou, Minnie Pearl, and Major. All four adorable pups make regular appearances on her socials.

Here she is, working up a sweat as she jogs with two of her canine best friends. The two pooches are in their element, running about and being their curious selves. Reese appears to be in top form, which isn’t surprising as she’s conscious about what she eats and exercises to stay in shape.

#9 Justin Theroux and his beloved Kuma

One look at Justin Theroux’s Instagram and you can instantly tell the actor is a dog person. His social media handle is full of photos of him and his rescue dog, Kuma. The pit bull has been with him since 2018, and their bond is only getting stronger.

Kuma was saved from the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey and has been thriving under Justin’s care. The White House Plumbers star has been championing pet adoption and encourages his followers to visit their local shelters to adopt and rescue dogs.

#10 Selma and Scout on their coffee run

We first fell in love with actress Selma Blair in Legally Blonde, where she played Vivian Kensington, Elle’s rival turned best friend. The actress has been quite public about her battle with MS, and we were happy to learn that she’s entered remission.

Here she is looking healthy and full life while on a coffee run accompanied by her loyal service dog, Scout. The actress mentioned that the dog brought stability to her life while she was dealing with her health scare. Dogs really are the best!

#11 J-Law is a dog lover through and through

While you may have seen countless pictures of Jennifer Lawrence wrangling not one but three dogs in the streets of New York, you may be surprised to learn that that was just for a Dior Ad. She only has one dog, Pippi, who she is fiercely protective of.

The dog travels with the actress and enjoys the finer things in life. On the other hand, Jennifer constantly frets about Pippi’s well-being and fears that her pooch’s small size might make it susceptible to predators. Clearly, J-Law is besotted by her furry friend.

#12 Emily Ratajkowski and dog in Soho

It must have been scorching hot when this photo of model Emily Ratajkowski and her dog, Colombo, was taken in Soho. Emily chose to beat the heat by wearing a black tank top, daisy dukes, and white sneakers. You can’t get any more comfortable than that.

The runway regular and host of the podcast, High/Low with Emrata has had her dog since May 2019 and even brought him to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon when she guested. If you want to see more of Colombo, he has her own Instagram account under the handle colomboratajkowski.

#13 Priyanka and Diana looking all glammed up

Moving on from Colombo Ratajkowski, we have another dog with her own booming Instagram handle, diariesofdiana. We are talking about none other than Diana Jonas, Priyanka Jonas’ beloved furry best friend. Here she is casually strolling with the Baywatch actress.

Priyanka and her husband, Nick Jonas, have two more pet dogs named Gino and Panda. Aside from being away from her family, the other thing the actress doesn’t love about her work is she is often separated from her pets too.

#14 Naomi and Izzy on their lunch date

Naomi Watts and her little sidekick, Izzy, are having an excellent time on their date, as you can see from the photo below. The rescue dog is no stranger to Instagram because the actress loves to share countless photos of her with her followers.

If Izzy isn’t the photos’ main subject, she can often be seen hanging out in the background and enjoying her best life. Sometimes, she even goes with Naomi to her beauty appointments. Ah, to live the life of a celebrity pet.

#15 Hailey and Piggy Lou

Some folks like big guard dogs, while others prefer smaller ones that they can carry around and not have trouble walking. Hailey Bieber, Justin’s better half, belongs to the latter group. Here she is with Piggy Lou wearing matching outfits during a day out in NYC.

Piggy Lou isn’t the couple’s first pooch. Their first foray into puppy parenthood was in 2018 when they adopted a Maltese terrier whom they named Oscar. Like, Hailey, Justin is not a stranger to pet ownership. He had a dog Sammy, who left for the Rainbow Bridge in 2014.

#16 Elvis is out of the building

Although she’s best known for her role as Aria Montgomery in Pretty Little Liars, Lucy Hale has also appeared in movies such as The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song, and Scream 4.

#18 Henry Golding jogging with Stella

We couldn’t get enough of Henry Golding when we saw him in Crazy Rich Asians. Who could resist a charming and handsome guy? Even Stella, the pit bull, can’t help but love Henry and his wife Liv. The couple are also besotted by their new family member and love taking photos of him.

18 Image courtesy of Sanc, Scla DsanchezCPR/BACKGRID

Aside from regularly walking their dog, which you can see Henry doing here, they also enjoy playing with Stella and showering her with affection. For more of Stella, you can check Henry’s and his wife’s Instagram handles. Fun fact: Actress Olivia Munn hooked up the couple with the shelter where Stella is from.

#19 Chace Crawford and Shiner

Here is Gossip Girl alum Chace Crawford enjoying a sunny day with his pooch Shiner in Los Angeles. For his outing with Shiner, Chace was as casual as could be. He also didn’t forget to bring his glasses in case the paparazzi started snapping pictures. It’s the price of being a celebrity.

Image courtesy of Gedu/Sala Terma, SL/BACKGRID

Chace once lost Shiner in 2017, but the actor was lucky that a Twitter user found the pup and returned it to him. The woman came across Shiner wandering around West Hollywood and immediately took to Twitter to track down the pooch’s fur parent, who turned out to be the actor.

#20 Lily Collins with husband and Redford

This Emily in Paris star might not have a canine companion in the hit Netflix show, but Lily Collins has a pug-terrier who has been traveling the world with her and her husband, Charlie McDowell, since 2019. Just like several others on our list, Redford is also quite popular online.

Image courtesy of Gedu/Sala Terma, SL/BACKGRID

Aside from making an appearance on the actress’ IG, he also has his own Instagram account with 77k followers, which is more than most folks on Instagram. He can be seen sitting cuddling at home with Lily, sitting on a bicycle’s basket, and catching a view of Paris on a balcony.

#21 Dylan McDermott and Otis

Dylan McDermott is a proud dog dad, and he makes sure he doesn’t forget his duty of taking Otis for a walk whenever he can. Here is the duo looking casual and carefree. The American Horror Story actor dotes on his dog and ensures he has a complete arsenal to make his pup’s life comfortable.

He once mentioned that among the things he can’t live without are his de-shedding tool for dogs and water-proof dog boots. Dylan also admitted that he was once allergic to dogs, and it was his ex-fiancé Maggie Q, who is a big dog lover, who introduced him to the joys of having a canine companion.

#22 Robin Wright with husband Clement Giraudet and their dog

We loved her when she appeared in House of Cards as Claire Underwood from 2013 to 2018, but did you know that actress Robin Wright was married to Sean Penn from 1996 to 2010? The couple has a son and a daughter together.

#23 Katie Holmes and her little furry companion

This actress might be recognized by most as Tom Cruise’s ex-wife, but she had been acting in movies and TV shows even before she met her now ex-husband. The Dawson’s Creek alum is a doting mom to her daughter Suri and gives her whatever she asks for.

She considers her fur babies family, and her adopted Chihuahua, Honey, has been with her since 2014. They also have another furry companion named Maple. Here is the actress with one of her dogs. Sadly, Suri is nowhere in sight.

Alicia Silverstone is a lifelong animal lover. She once lived with 11 rescue dogs after buying her first home. The actress, best known for her role as Cher in Clueless, recalls that her whole house was a mess and it wasn’t fun.

She’s pictured here with her husband and their dogs hiking in Los Angeles. She constantly shares videos and pictures of her dogs on her Instagram handle. In what’s undoubtedly one of our favorite videos on her page, you can see one of the pups at the dinner table sitting opposite her, licking his lips.

#25 Saoirse Roan

Known for her work in period dramas, Saoirse Roan has received various accolades throughout her career, but she never forgets her responsibilities as a fur mom. Here she is with her boyfriend, Jack Lowden, making sure their pup gets enough exercise.

The actress admits that she named her three-year-old pup after her favorite Love/Hate character, Fran. She disclosed that only Irish people would understand the reason for the moniker. We’ve never seen the movie, but this certainly piqued our interest.

#26 Collin Hanks and Earl

We could all use photos of adorable dogs when we’re in low spirits, and this picture of actor Collin Hanks and his beloved pooch, Earl Boykins, is giving us good vibes. No, we’re not joking; that’s the dog’s real name. The goofy, tongue-flapping French bulldog was named after the Denver Nuggets legend.

The Orange County actor often shares pics of his furry friend on his Instagram handle, and fans can’t get enough of the doggo. He can often be seen walking the streets of LA with his doting fur parent and the actor’s daughters, Charlotte and Olivia.

#27 Will Ferrell let the dog out

Will Ferrell and his adorable furry best friend seem to be in high spirits as they soak in the streets of LA. Who wouldn’t be after being cooped up for too long? As we mentioned, as a fur parent, you have to take your dogs for regular walks. Even celebrities aren’t exempted from such duties.

The funnyman might crack jokes left and right, but he is serious about being a parent not only to his children but also to his canine companions. So, this is a reminder to everyone not to adopt or rescue a dog when you’re not ready for the responsibilities.

#28 Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson with their fur baby

These two are couple goals. They have been married for 25 years and still look so in love, walking their dog together in Santa Monica, California, as they enjoy the fresh air and some sun. Ted Danson confesses that he fell in love with Mary while on a canoe ride.

#29 Dan Levy and Redford

This picture of Schitt’s Creek actor Dan Levy walking his dog Redford is heartwarming and heartbreaking. Taken in 2020, it shows the doggo in the pink of health. Sadly, in January 2022, the actor shared that his beloved companion had left for the rainbow bridge.

#30 Helena Bonham Carter and Pablo

Helena Bonham Carter isn’t someone who follows the status quo. She’s more than happy to be different and look different. This photo featuring the actress walking her dog is proof of her unique personality and taste. Her outfit, however, is giving us hobo vibes.

The actress shares her Tibetan terrier, Pablo, with her boyfriend, Rye, who’s a psychoanalyst. What do you think? Does Pablo agree with his fur mom’s sartorial choices? We think he couldn’t care less. He’s just happy to get out of the house.

#31 Mischa Barton and her mutts

Once Hollywood’s IT girl, Mischa Barton exited The O.C. and left Hollywood to live a quieter life. However, people are still curious about what she’s up to these days. Well, she seems to be living the life of an ordinary person, ensuring she spends enough time with her dogs.

She’s had a few acting roles in TV and movies since 2020, such as a supporting role in Spree and a substantial part in the 2023 thriller Invitation to Murder. Does she look happy being in the company of her pups? You bet!

#32 The smooth singer and his Goldendoodle

Do you know what Usher does when he’s not performing on the world’s biggest stages and entertaining thousands of people? He likes to dress down and be a father to his children and pup. Here is the Love In This Club singer’s Goldendoodle named Scarlett.

For those wondering what a Goldendoodle is, it’s a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. They come in three sizes; standard, miniature, and toy. Judging from Scarlett’s size, she is most likely a standard, not too big and not too small.

#33 Dua Lipa’s family outing

This picture was obviously taken during happier times when singer Dua Lipa was still smooching it up with Anwar Hadid, Gigi’s and Bella’s younger brother, who’s also a model like his big sisters. The two split in late 2021 and have since found love with other people.

#34 Cara Delevingne shopping with Leo

One of the highest-paid models today who’s walked the runways for major brands such as Oscar de la Renta, Fendi, Dolce and Gabbana, and Chanel, is also a dog lover. Cara Delevingne is snapped here taking her dog with her on a shopping trip in Paris.

Can we just say that Kaia Gerber is one lucky girl to have inherited her mother’s famous face and figure? Here she is showing off her svelte figure while listening to music and taking her dog out for a walk in New York City before heading to Pier 59.

#37 Matchy matchy for Farrah Abraham, her daughter, and her dogs

Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham might have been embroiled in many controversies in the past, but that doesn’t stop her from being a regular fur mom who takes her pups for a walk. She carries them when they are tired and gives them the attention and care they deserve.

This photo was obviously taken during the height of the pandemic as Farrah and her daughter, Sophia Laurent, can be seen wearing bright face masks while carrying Boo and Cupcake protectively. Not only is she wearing the same top as her daughter, but their dogs are also wearing something identical. Cute!

#38 Out with their beloved during happier times

Actress Sophie Turner and singer Joe Jonas might be in the midst of a divorce, but during happier times and before the birth of their daughters, they were doting parents to their dogs, a Golden Retriever and an Alaskan Klee Kai named Porky.

The celebrity dog parents even got matching tattoos dedicated to one of their four-legged best friends. Now that they are going their separate ways, who’s going to get the dogs? We’re curious, but we also hope that they sort things out.

#39 Nina Dobrev’s life is better with Maverick

Nina Dobrev doesn’t mince words when she tells people how her dog Maverick has changed her life for the better. It’s clear that the little guy (half Aussie Shepherd and half Border Collie) has left plenty of paw prints on the actress’ heart.

She shares that she left the Coachella Music Festival in 2017 so she could pick up her dog. When she saw the dog’s photo on her feed, she knew right away that she needed to get her as soon as possible. Many years later, the two are closer than ever.

#40 Doting fur mom, Elizabeth Banks

Like most people who were cooped up during the pandemic, Elizabeth Banks also decided to adopt a furry friend during the pandemic. She got her dog, Saucer, seen here out and about with the actress, in March 2020. Like other celebrity pets, Saucer is often seen on his fur mom’s Instagram account.

The actress introduced the new addition to her household as soon as she got him and went on to thank the folks who helped her bring her new baby home. She’s so sweet. Her choice makes us wish there were more people out there who’d adopt and rescue canines.

#41 Gavin Rossdale and his little love

Who would have thought that a tough rocker like Gavin Rossdale would adopt a teeny tiny dog? We thought he’d be the guy who would rather bring home a big guard dog like a German Shepherd or a Rottweiler. This goes to show you can’t tell what people prefer just by looking at them!

Here he is taking Chewy out for a walk. Technically, Chewy belongs to Gavin and his ex-wife, Gwen Stefani, but the Bush frontman kept the little guy after the couple divorced. Gavin is quite the stage dad and shares photos and videos of the adorable Golden Pomeranian on his Instagram.

#42 Laura Dern’s Baby

We know you can’t get enough of celebs taking their furry friends for a walk, so we’ve got some more for you. Here is actress Laura Dern with her dog, a Husky named Baby. In 2022, the actress took to her Instagram to announce that her beloved miracle dog, Jamal, a Black Lab, had died.

She wrote a heartfelt message and shared countless throwback photos of her dear friend. She obviously misses Jamal, but she is lucky to have Baby’s company. Aside from her dogs, the Jurassic Park actress also had a pet fish named Goldfish.

#43 Ben and Hutch

Ben Affleck looks like he could use more sleep in this photo. Perhaps he’d been up all night shooting a movie but recalled that he needed to take his dog out for a walk. If we didn’t tell you this was Ben, would you have guessed correctly?

We can’t help but be intimidated by the actor’s German Shepherd, Hutch, the oldest of the star’s pet clan. He looks like he means business and won’t have any second thoughts about protecting his daddy, who he has been with even when Jennifer Garner was still in the picture.

#44 Ana de Armas has left the building with Elvis

We can’t forget Ana de Armas’ performance in the Marilyn Monroe biopic, Blonde. The actress shared that her dog, Elvis, a 13-year-old Maltese was also in the movie. The little guy portrayed Mafia, Marilyn’s dog. How many dogs can say that they had the privilege of acting with their fur parent?

The answer to that question is only a handful. The Cuban actress is very proud of her pup. We’re curious how much the little fellow got paid. Did they pay Elvis in dollars or treats? Well, one thing’s for sure; Elvis loved the star treatment on set.

#45 Vanessa relaxing with her Darla

One day, Austin’s mom finally decided to knock on the neighbor’s door and asked them to give her the dog if they couldn’t care for it. When she passed away, Vanessa and Austin took Darla in. The couple has since split, and Darla has remained with the actress.
