Drew Barrymore Reacts To Britney Spears’ Heartfelt Praise About Her Beauty

Drew Barrymore has responded to Britney Spears’ recent Instagram post in which the pop star called Barrymore one of the prettiest humans she’s ever met. Barrymore addressed the post in a preview for an upcoming episode of her show, explaining that while everyone on her team saw the post and happily freaked out, she wants to take her time responding.

The actress and host said that she wished to be thoughtful and read the post carefully so she could come up with a good enough reply. Barrymore went on to praise Spears for her upcoming book, which will reportedly give the pop star the chance to tell her own story in her own words.

For Drew, the book is the perfect way for the singer to tell her story, as she’ll be able to control what’s being said and will be able to say things her own way. The actress went on to say that she feels a lot of things for Spears – so much it was hard to express in a single post.

Barrymore has been vocal in her support for Britney in the past, particularly during the pop star’s battle to end her 13-year conservatorship. In August 2021, Barrymore called Spears speaking out “the key to her freedom.”

At the time, Barrymore said in an interview that the entire thing was about Britney and her own life. According to the actress, everyone has the right to live their lives and make their own choices, or else it’s like they don’t actually have a life to live.
