Jennifer Lopez Entered Into A Multi-Year Contract With Netflix

Hollywood singer and actor Jennifer Lopez recently announced a multi-year deal with Netflix under Nuyorican Production (her production banner).

According to the reports, she will produce a series of movies and TV content that include scripted and unscripted shows. And the content will highlight diverse female actors, filmmakers, and writers. Moreover, the two Netflix features, staring Lopez as the lead, The Cipher and The Mother are already on the charts. The Cipher is inspired by the novel of the same name by the internationally renowned author Isabel Ojeda Maldonado.

Scott Stuber, the head of global films at Netflix, in a statement said that Lopez has always been a force to reckon with. Therefore, partnering with her and her production unit will ensure that Netflix releases some impactful content and inspires its audience.

Furthermore, the head of global TV at Netflix, Bela Bajaria, also praised the artist by saying that Lopez is a singular talent who has managed to capture and inspire the audience with her vision and creativity. Moreover, the movie The Mother follows the story of a deadly assassin who comes out from hiding to teach her daughter the tricks of survival. Misha Green is the screenwriter of the movie, and Andrea Berloff is currently revising it. Additionally, The Cipher follows an FBI Special Agent who is keen on solving serial killer cases.
